Manufactured in the UK by Shire Beds, the divan is a durable single size shallow base that is available in a selection of fabrics and colours.It features a sturdy and strong platform style top lid that provides a solid foundation and comes with a choice of 13cm (5") or 20cm (8") depths.
There's a selection of feet and legs to complement the shallow base, from 2" castors or silver glides, to a choice of metal and wooden legs.
You can upgrade to a reinforced model that's designed to withstand extra weights, with extra wooden straps across its framework and a double thick top lid.
The Shire divan base has a non-slip top surface to keep your mattress firmly in place and comes with screw-in fixings to attach a single headboard.

Love this bed has a quality feel to the chenille, was in two parts all fittings provided went up easily, the two draws in the bed are nice and deep and fit perfectly all in all I'm really pleased with the divan bed, I chose the silver gliders as I have laminate flooring and so glad I did as the bed doesn't move around like my last one did.
